The Varengian Host - my Custodes!

Big, blue, and here to save the day... (maybe).

The Varengian Host are my own Custodes shield host. I was determined not to paint them all gold, and a chance search on good ol' element games turned up some gorgeous GSW metallic blue paint. The rest came together nicely!

These large lads (and lasses) were my principal army at the tail end of 9th ed. Though they haven't yet much seen the table in 10th, their time to shine will come again (I have no doubt).
